Installation Steps

1. On Source Host, run c:\kentivy\deployment\deployment.py to enter the license key to generate c:\incoming\Deployment_Date folder

• If the deployment type is full, be aware if you are using USB or NetDisk for the 1 GB installer.

• If the deployment type is standard, upgrade.zip will be created under the pickup folder.

Standard Upgrade Steps Only

Run Alt + Z on Target Host

• run InspirationTools and select option 6. Software backup & update

After you see "Upgrade Completed Successfully!" message, Press Enter to continue...

• Note: By design, PRESERVE step ensures NO DATA LOSS! The pattern "*" ensures EVERYTHING in data/ survives the upgrade!

Tell customers that they can choose when to delete the backup folder inside the pickup folder.

Full Deployment Steps Only

2. On Source Host, copy c:\incoming\Deployment_Date folder to USB drive

3. Do the following on the target host, move Deployment_Date folder from USB drive to C:\

4. Rename C:\Deployment_Date folder to kentivy

5. Install WAMP pre-requisite c:\kentivy\apache\VisualCppRedist_AIO_x86_x64.exe and restart target host

6. Install WAMP wampserver3.3.7_x64.exe with default path C:\wamp64

7. If OS is Windows 10, install Windows Terminal first from Microsoft Store.

Then open Windows Powershell in administrator mode by right clicking "Start" -> Terminal (Admin)

cd \kentivy

• For new installation on Windows

powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\setupInstall.ps1
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\setupConfig.ps1

8. Left-click WAMP tray icon and Go to: PHP → Version → 7.4.33 (switch to 7.4.33 first)

• Then go to: PHP → PHP Extensions

• Check "curl" and "openssl"

• Restart WAMP

9. Set Apache to run automatically, should be done by config, need further testing

• Press Win + R, type services.msc, hit Enter.

• Find wampapache64, right-click → Properties → Set Startup type to Automatic.

• Check if Https://local.kentivy.com is working.

10. Edit c:\kentivy\data\local_villagerData.txt to configure the admin user and PIN number

• Field 1 username is for authentication with Field 6 PIN

• Set Field 4 to Admin can let this user see all financial profile in Freedom Calculator

License Validition

Copy the license key from village.php and paste into Inspiration Village directory to confirm the validity
